ABOUT US
Stoney Creek Camels Women's team is comprised of various skill levels, experienced athletes, university/college players, in addition to new players interested in learning the game. We are a competitive group of women who strive to achieve the top level of our game, while developing new/upcoming players.
Pre-season practices begin in April, working on fitness and developing skills. We have 2 pre-season games, until the regular season begins in May and runs through until mid August.
The women train twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.
The lady camels play in the Niagara Rugby Union A Division on Saturdays typically at 12:30 PM, we carpool
and travel to Burlington, Fergus, Niagara, London, Waterloo, Sarnia and Hamilton.
We host many social events throughout the year, we are more than just rugby, we are a community. You will
often see us supporting the other teams in our club: minis, juniors and the men's program.
We encourage past, present and future players to join us and be a part of our team.
